Hottest New Luxury Sedans for 2014

The best luxury sedans aim to satisfy buyers who will accept nothing less than perfection in the pursuit of the ultimate in automotive transportation and these cars don’t compete much on price as on prestige, comfort, and in some cases innovative technologies. These premium four-door cars are designed for elegance, quality and comfort, and offer top-of-the-line performance, as well. Here we’ve put together a list of the 10 hottest luxury sedans for the year 2014.

10. Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The 2014 C-Class may closely resemble the 2008 model, but much has changed under the surface. The C-Class has gone through extensive interior makeover receiving a fresh dashboard look with up-to-date technology. The old base V6 engine has been ditched for a turbocharged 1.8-liter 4-cylinder that gets 31 miles per gallon on the highway. And moreover, the C-Class is offered as a sleek coupe as well as a sedan.

9. Lexus IS

Sleek and muscular, and getting a sporty look, the Lexus IS does justice to its looks by the way it drives. The sublime front bucket seats make you feel like you’re driving a sports car, and if you go for the IS 350 with its 306-hp V6, you’ll have the acceleration to match. Among other interior highlights, the IS boasts Lexus’ mouse-like Remote Touch Interface for infotainment functions, and the back seat is finally adult-friendly.

8. Cadillac XTS

The Cadillac XTS is a full-size luxury sedan from the Cadillac brand of General Motors. It is based on an enlarged version of the Epsilon II platform. The XTS replaces both the Cadillac STS and DTS, and is smaller than the DTS but larger than the STS. The XTS is available with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. In a pinch, the XTS will deliver most of the comfort and relaxing back-seat luxury as these other all-star luxury cars. The XTS also offers all-wheel-drive, and its huge trunk makes it ideal for airport runs.

7. Hyundai Genesis

The Hyundai Genesis beats pretty much all of the cars in the class on space for five passengers, boasts strong V6 and V8 engines that aren’t exactly gas hogs, either. Furthermore, it’s astonishingly good value for money and it composes stellar audio system and navigation. Its conservative lines make it look bland, though, and it’s one of the few in the class not to offer all-wheel drive.
